APA System’s experienced design team are available to work closely with architects and specifiers from a project’s design conception stage through to project completion. One of APA’s major success factors in the Irish market is its belief and commitment in continuous product development which has led to design solutions specifically for Irish customers.
Areas such as energy saving or the thermal enhancement of aluminium systems are at the forefront of our R&D. The current global environmental challenges have led to the development of systems using software that allows us analyse the thermal efficiencies of different formats, mixtures and assemblies of materials and is an invaluable tool in the design of our facades, windows and door systems.
For projects our technical team can produce thermal evaluation figures, condensation prediction calculations, overall design concepts and weathering capabilities. Other areas that our technical team can offer advice are on project specific weather testing, structural calculations, specifications, and relevant interfacing details
Our technical team will design bespoke systems for use in projects and can evaluate the proposed system for functionality prior to any expense being incurred with extrusion dies, stocks or testing. APA has completed several projects, one such project is Kildare County Council Offices.
